2023 Book Reads

This year I did not meet my goal of 50 books. And that is okay! I did beat my record by one from last year! 34 books, not including two text books. I finished up my INSTE certificate in Christian Ministries which took a good portion of my year away with the intense study of Old and…

2024 New Years Prayer

As I breath in the first breaths of January 1st, I am overwhelmed with love and excitement for the year ahead. I also am reminded of Lamentations 3:22-24: “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. The Lord is…

Something New

You are so intimately aware of me, Lord. You read my heart like and open book and you know all the words I’m about to speak before I even start a sentence! You know every step I will take before my journey even begins begins! -PSALM 139:3-4 TPT Ah… cheers to a New Year! A…

Called Out

About Me

As I write my first blog post, I cannot tell you how excited I am. Blogging is such an amazing way to share my thoughts, discoveries, blessings and ideas with you! I cannot think of a better way to genuinely express myself to the fullest other than to blog! I know, I know, we now have Facebook, Instagram, twitter and the ever so popular TikTok, but truly, how long will those be around for?

So, just a little bit about me… My name is Crystal and I love JESUS, He is my Lord and Savior! I am a native of Colorado, currently living in Colorado Springs and am a wife and mother of two school age children. I am also a small business owner, children’s church leader, and a volunteer events coordinator for a shelter. I love life and face the impossible each day with grit and grace. My life verse is Matthew 28:20: “…I am with you always, to the end of the age.” He is with always!! I believe it and receive it!

My hope for this blog going into 2022, is to speak life into your heart. I want to encourage you to stay close to the Lord and to ask God to open the eyes of your heart so you can see circumstances through the lens of His truth. His perspective. His assurance. Excited to head down the blogging road this year with you!

Let’s hang out
